This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Pocket Paramedic (“Pocket Paramedic,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the Pocket Paramedic mobile application (“App”).

 

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

 

Pocket Paramedic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional reference purposes, in accordance with this Agreement and Apple’s App Store terms.

2. Intended Use & Professional Responsibility

 

Pocket Paramedic is intended solely as a reference and organizational tool for trained emergency medical professionals.

​

The App:

• Does not provide medical advice

• Does not replace clinical judgment

• Does not replace medical direction, protocols, or official documentation systems

• Does not make clinical decisions

 

You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for patient care decisions

• You must follow your employer’s policies, medical direction, and applicable laws

• Pocket Paramedic is used at your own discretion and risk

3. No Data Collection or Storage

 

Pocket Paramedic:

• Does not collect user data

• Does not store patient information

• Does not transmit any information externally

• Stores all documents locally on your device only

 

Temporary data entered during use (such as in the Vitals tab) is not saved and is permanently erased at the end of a session.

4. User Content

 

Any documents or materials uploaded into the App:

• Remain entirely your property

• Are stored locally on your device

• Are never accessed by Pocket Paramedic

• Are your sole responsibility

 

You are responsible for ensuring any content you upload complies with applicable laws, workplace policies, and confidentiality requirements.

5. Prohibited Uses

 

You agree not to:

• Use the App in violation of laws or regulations

• Use the App as a substitute for required medical documentation systems

• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the App

• Use the App for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes

6. Intellectual Property

 

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including but not limited to:

• Software

• Design

• Branding

• Logos

• Icons

are owned by Pocket Paramedic and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

​

This Agreement does not grant ownership rights—only a license to use.

​

7. Subscription & Payments (If Applicable)

 

If the App offers premium subscriptions:

• Payments are processed by Apple via the App Store

• Pocket Paramedic does not handle payment information

• Subscriptions are governed by Apple’s billing terms

• Refunds are handled by Apple, not Pocket Paramedic

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

Pocket Paramedic makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Accuracy or completeness of content

• Availability or uninterrupted operation

​

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

​

Pocket Paramedic shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Loss of data or content

• Clinical outcomes or patient care decisions

• Professional, legal, or regulatory consequences arising from App use

​

10. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pocket Paramedic from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Your use of the App

• Your professional actions

• Your uploaded content

• Your violation of this Agreement

​

11. Termination

 

Pocket Paramedic may suspend or terminate this license at any time if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the App.

12. Governing Law

 

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pocket Paramedic operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Apple App Store Compliance

 

This Agreement is between you and Pocket Paramedic, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

​

14. Changes to This Agreement

 

Pocket Paramedic reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
